These terms apply to your use of carpricegenie.com.au and to any report you purchase from us. Car Price Genie (ABN 20977218141) is operated as a sole trader based in Australia (“we”, “us”, “our”). By submitting your details or making a payment, you agree to these terms.
What we provide
We provide a personalised pricing strategy report for a private vehicle sale in Australia, prepared by a person with hands-on experience in the car sales industry. The report is advisory only. It is not a valuation, an appraisal, an offer to buy your car, or financial, legal or tax advice.
Your responsibilities
You must provide accurate and complete information about your vehicle, including make, model, year, kilometres, condition and location. Our report is based entirely on what you tell us and on publicly available market information. Inaccurate details will produce an inaccurate report, and we can’t be responsible for that outcome.
Price and payment
The report costs $69 AUD, payable up front. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. Prices may change at any time, but the price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that order.
Delivery
We aim to deliver your report by email within 24 hours of receiving your details and payment. If we can’t deliver within 24 hours, our 24-Hour Delivery guarantee applies and your order is refunded.
Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, including the New Insight or Refund guarantee and the 24-Hour Delivery guarantee. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
No guarantee of sale price
The car market moves, and buyers behave unpredictably. We do not guarantee that you will sell your vehicle, sell it within any timeframe, or achieve any particular price. Any figures, ranges or timelines in the report are informed estimates, not promises.
Intellectual property
The report is prepared for your personal use in selling your vehicle. You may not resell, republish or redistribute it commercially. All site content, branding and report templates remain our property.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a report is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost sale opportunities or price differences.
Independence
We are an independent advisory service and are not affiliated with Carsales, Redbook, or any dealership, manufacturer or finance provider.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
